Q.1 Do I still need my radiators?
A.1 No, the underfloor heating will give off sufficient heat without the
use of radiators, giving back your wall space.

Q.2 Will it cost more to run than a conventional
central heating system?
A.2 It actually works out cheaper to run the Speedheat system and can
reduce your heating bills by up to 20%.

Q.3 Can I have it in just one room?
A.3 Yes, you do not need to have your whole house under floor heated and
can have a room at a time.

Q.4 Does it come on and off on its’
own?
A.4 Yes, the system is thermostatically controlled and you are able to
programme in the times you would like it be on and to what temperature
you would like.

Q.5 Does it cover the whole floor or can
a section be left out?
A.5 The system needs only to be put where there will be a benefit to heating
the room eg. under a bed would remain without the heating.

Q.6 What floor finishes can you have?
A.6 You can have carpet, engineered wood, ceramics and hard floors such
as Amtico, Karndean or vinyl. The hardfloors need to be thermostatically
controlled to not go above 27°c.

Q.7 Can you put rugs down?
A.7 Woven backed rugs are fine to go on the heating but not vinyl or plastic
backed as the heat cannot pass through

Q.8 How long will the installation take?
A.8 We normally allow a days fitting for an average size room and once
the flooring is fitted we will wire the system in.

Q.9 How long is the guarantee?
A.9 10 years for hard floors and 5 years for carpets.

Q.10 Is it suitable for bathrooms?
A.10 Yes, it is a completely water tight system and therefore can be used
throughout the house.
