Vinyls are very practical and more cost effective compared to the Amtico and Karndean products.

They comprise of a vinyl backing which has a wear layer on top. The wear layer comes in different thickness depending on its durability.

There are many different types of vinyl and some have a cushioned backing to produce a softer feel. They are suitable for all areas including bathrooms and kitchens although soft thick backings can be dented by high heels and stool legs in heavy use kitchens.
