Velvet Pile These carpets are a cut pile carpet, mainly available in plain colours, and produce a very luxurious look and feel which is only achievable with a velvet pile.

The main characteristic you need to be aware of in this carpet is that it shows marks after it has been walked on and after vacuuming, and can be prone to shading and pile reversal. The joins and walkway areas will also show more than in a twist pile carpet. Being a plain carpet it can show some soiling but can be professionally cleaned which should bring it back to new.
